Hey everyone! It's been a while since we've made a blog post, but we've been working on a few exciting things.
First, we'd like to congratulate our very own Manny Moreno (left) of Ares BJJ Rocklin on his promotion to black belt. He's been training for almost 10 years now and was actually promoted on stage after winning his Fight2Win match in Sacramento. We are very proud to have him representing Open Guard Apparel.
Secondly, we'd like to welcome Jonathan Van Buren (center) to the OGA family! Jonathan, known as JVB, is a black belt training under Paul Nava of Nava/Ares Jiu-Jitsu in Mesa, Arizona. He's a beast on the mats and teaches both kids and adults, in addition to being an active competitor!
The OGA family has been lucky enough to have down-to-earth black belts, on and off the mats. We look forward to what their future holds. We've been looking to expand the reach of our brand past the Sacramento area, so if you'd like to be considered, send us an e-mail today!
